Laura and Scott got married at Bartholomew Barn, which is a beautiful barn in Kirdford with countryside views. It was such a fun wedding and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!

THE CEREMONY
The ceremony was a church service at St John the Baptist, Kirdford. During the ceremony they had a harpist play some lovely tranquil music. It was such a personal service. The couple left the church through a walk way created by their guests with umbrellas and confetti, perfect.
The reception was in the main room at Bartholomew Barn – I love this venue because you can totally personalise it. Weddings at Bartholomew Barn are amazing, because the photo ops are endless.
WHY BARTHOLOMEW BARN IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET MARRIED
Bartholomew Barn is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, and is one of the best places to get married in Kirdford. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding and is ideal for intimate groups or lager parties. With the rolling country side all around it’s awesome for photos at sunset.
AFTER THE CEREMONY
The couple had drinks and canapés in the afternoon, and a DJ in the evening. Although it rained for most of the day, everyone had fun and we still managed to create some wonderful pictures. For dinner they had a lovely 3-course meal, and to start the party Laura and Scott shared a romantic slow dance. They finished off the evening with more drinking and dancing.
THE COUPLE
Laura wore an Ivory A-Line dress with laced sleeves and bodice and Scott wore a stunning trouser suit and they looked perfect.
Paul did our wedding photos and we highly recommend him as a photographer. He had a great balance of capturing posed and the candid moments. He slotted in easily to the day and wasn't too pushy, but again balanced that with ensuring we captured some great shots; Our favourite being the backlit shots in the rain. We were really happy with the final photos - thanks Paul for all your hard work in capturing our day
